Dr. Yashaswee Bhattarai is a board-certified optometrist and founder of LightBridge Health Advanced Optometry in Berkeley, California. She completed the Advanced Standing Doctor of Optometry Program at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) and brings extensive experience in both hospital-based and outpatient eye care settings. Throughout her career, Dr. Bhattarai has cared for patients in academic medical centers, Veterans Affairs hospitals, community health centers, ophthalmology clinics, and private practices across the United States. Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive eye examinations, management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and emergency eye conditions. With training and clinical experience spanning the United States, Nepal, and India, Dr. Bhattarai is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. She works collaboratively with primary care physicians,ophthalmologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for her patients. Fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi, Dr. Bhattarai is dedicated to improving access to quality eye care and serving the diverse communities of the Bay Area.
