Q:
Any gluten free options? I checked the online menu on the website and no items are labeled.
A:
We have a few of options available. Please refer to our menu on our website.
Bradley W.Â3 months agoQ:
What are the gf options? Bread? Pasta? Hamburger buns?
A:
Unfortunately we have no GF buns or pasta. You can do the burger with lettuce instead of the bun. We have a couple of appetizers and salads that are GF.

Food:
Great flavor. Taste is balanced. I tried fish and chips, fried shishito peppers, and charred gem lettuce. The portion of fish/chips and fried shishito are quite large. The drink pineapple spiritz is so refreshing.
Service:
Excellent service. Really friendly and attentive.
Ambience:
This restaurant sits by the water, giving a nice view of the yachts and water. Great for any occasions.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Lyd D.El Cerrito, CA45737Mar 23, 2024
A friend mentioned walking by and noticing this new restaurant at Berkeley Marina, and I was intrigued. So on this Saturday, after the morning rain, I thought I would come check it out. The restaurant wasn't very busy when I arrived, and I was told I could choose any table. I chose one on the marina side, and asked to raise the shade so that I could enjoy the water view.
Before I even sat down, I already knew I must have the seafood fettuccine, and I was not disappointed. The housemade pasta was cooked perfectly, and the shellfish was done well. The tomato/fennel/saffron sauce was silky and delicate, and coated the pasta beautifully. The Calabrian chili gave just a slight kick without making this a spicy dish. In my opinion, it was a perfect portion size - bigger than a proper Italian pasta course, and smaller than an American entree size serving. I was able to enjoy a few oysters, and a salad as well, without feeling uncomfortably full. The charred gem lettuce salad was well executed too.
Michael was my server and he was great! He was professional, attentive, warm, and friendly. This may not be a fine dining destination kind of a restaurant, but my first experience has been fantastic. Every staff member I met was welcoming, and seemed to aim to please. I looked around and noticed the other diners, adults and kids, were happy.
I look forward to returning with friends, so that I can sample more items on the menu.
There is a parking lot, which is nice. There are patio heaters throughout, but do bring a jacket in case it's cold/breezy/windy.Helpful 5Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 1 - Domonique F.Oakland, CA1212Mar 23, 2024
I had an impromptu late lunch meeting here after a walk and so glad we stopped here! I've been wanting to try it out since opening and I was not disappointed.
I love the indoor/outdoor layout because I enjoy fresh air but the heating lamps make it enjoyable & cozy. I'm also a fan of smaller more intimate restaurants vs. large. The staff is super friendly and our server in particular was most definitely attentive. She knew what I needed before I did, was knowledgeable about the menu options + wine, & even offered similar wine pairings for me to try since my original selection wasn't in stock.
I am a fan of the range of food options. There is literally something for everyone. I ordered the Pappardelle and added shrimp. It was delicious! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, sauce was light but flavorful, the mushrooms added to the fresh flavor, and the portion size was spot on. I was offered fresh pepper to top but declined. I personally like to taste the food before adding anything & it was perfect. I originally came for the clam chowder but will have to come back to try it! It's my favorite & I love that this place uses fresh clam.
I look forward to visiting again and most likely will opt to start having all of my late lunch/dinner meetings here.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 11, 2024
We came on opening weekend and had a good time. They were obviously ironing out some kinks at the time, but the bartender was personable and all of the food was well seasoned and delicious. I look forward to eating here again

I was really excited to hear that a new restaurant opened in Berkeley Marina! The place was lovely and located right next to Hana. Free parking and accessible via the 51B.
We ordered the Pei Mussels, Dockside Burger & Fries, Dungeness Crab Risotto, and a few cocktails. I LOVED THE mussels (delicious sauce and bread). I also enjoyed the Blue Fin cocktail. The risotto was good but not what I expected. I thought there'd be chunks of crab already in the dish, but you have to crack the crab yourself, so it can get pretty messy.
Service was also great, but it was strange that the server asked to record my name and phone number before I could get seated even when I said I didn't have a reservation. (It was around 4pm and there were tons of empty seats anyway.) I gave my personal information but this shouldn't be a requirement to dine!Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1 - Jan 17, 2024
We tried the clam chowder, the shrimp and grits, and calamari. The chowder was delicious but they really skimped on the broth. It felt like a bottom of the bowl portion upon receiving it. Which is such a bummer because I loved the flavor and richness of the broth. It did have a solid amount of clams in their shell, and those were great too. The shrimp and grits were decent, nothing to write home to. It was missing something for me, can't put my finger on it. But it did have a nice little spicy kick. I felt the portion was a little small for the price for this dish. The calamari was delicious and cooked perfectly! Love the bits of fried lemon slices too. Definitely recommend!
Our waitress was very sweet as was the hostess who checked us in. I'm excited for when they get their windows fixed so that you can see a direct view of the bay.
Oh! And for anyone who has an electric vehicle, there's a Chargepoint slow charger in the parking lot. We were desperate for some miles and that's actually why we chose to eat here, due to the fact there was a charger next to it. Great find!Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 2 - Darcy B.San Pablo, CA94836Apr 22, 2024
The staff was friendly, whoever I waiter was never came. Michael took care of us big shout out to him. I ordered the grits & shrimps very tasty. I also ordered the calamari it was fried too hard. The bar is separate from the restaurant a whole different vibe. Nice place will be back soon.

The clam chowder was so good!
We had a reservation for a Saturday night. It didn't seem overly busy, but they were already low on clam chowder, so they gave us a smaller portion on the house. The broth was thick and rich, and it was full of clams - so delicious. I would go back for the clam chowder for sure.
We also ordered the burger which was tasty and juicy. Fish and chips had a nice not-too-heavy breading and tender fish on the inside. The wings had a nice tangy sauce, and were still crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Overall, we were happy with everything we ordered, but the Clam chowder was the star.
The room that we were in was open on a cold night, but heaters kept everyone warm and comfortable. I would try them out again, and hope for more clam chowder next time!Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0 - Julian A.Antioch, CA1718Apr 28, 2024
Was recommended to go to Marina Seafood and they were right. The food was great, the service was amazing, and the view and vibe was nice. Definitely planning on coming back. Michael was our server and couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommend giving it a try and ask for Michael.

Amazing service, food and setting. Gem tucked away next to Hana Japan, decided to try it out because our first stop had a long wait. Got in right away, and seated at one of the many tables facing the marina. Food and drinks were . We had the burger, grilled Cesar with prawns and kids fried shrimp + fries (amazing). Everything was delicious, especially the burger - like butter.
The star of the show was the service. Our little one was inconsolable after a long day out, and upon coming to our table to introduce herself, Jill (an angel in the flesh) worked her magic, warmly engaging him on everything from Pokémon to the kids menu options. He calmed immediately and was entranced by her energy. By the end of the meal, they were best friends, and he even blew her a kiss . Jill saved the day.
Will be back for the awesome service, food and beautiful setting.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1
